One of my strongly held fashion beliefs is that personal style is just that-personal. So words like “trend” and “in style” should mean nothing more to you than this is what to expect in stores. You should never feel pressured to wear it solely because it’s “in style”. Wear what you like, and what feels good to you, but also be open to the inspiration that new styles can bring to your current wardrobe. You may be surprised to find that you like what’s new, fresh, and readily available.
Let’s Talk Gingham
One of the big patterns for spring and summer this year is gingham. Expect it on shirts, dresses, pants, bathing suits, and everything in between. It’s not a new pattern- but it’s come a long way from the picnic table. This $12 Off The Shoulder Pink Gingham Blouse for instance adds a soft, feminine twist on the summer staple.
