I love vintage style-shocker I know. Since I was little vintage/antique shops were my favorite places to shop. Great deals, and unique finds that you cant just pick up at Target. Every piece has a story, a life lived with someone else. From furniture, clothing, home goods, my trunk has been full of all of those things at one time or another.
My most recent trip led me to this leather beauty. It dates from around the 1960s and was probably used as a briefcase. It’s hard sides make it a perfect camera bag.- and it may even carry diapers, wipes, and a water bottle:) I was pretty happy with this $12 find, and it only reaffirmed why I love vintage shops and why I’ll keep going back to them.
I know it’s probably not in “fashion” to carry around a heavy, worn, men’s breifcase as a bag, but it’s my style and I’m totally fine with that. Moral of the story- stick with your style, no matter the fashion.
